This policy explains what information Grooming Gorgeous collects when you contact us or use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English on purpose.
Grooming Gorgeous is a dog and cat grooming salon based at 14a Thames Street, Sunbury-on-Thames, TW16 5QP. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

When you send us an enquiry through the website, we collect the details you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number, your pet’s name and breed, and your message.
When you call, email or message us, we keep a record of that conversation and any booking details that come out of it.
When you browse the website, we collect information about how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where in the country the visit came from, and whether the visit came from a Google advert. This is only collected if you accept cookies. It is not used to identify you personally.
We use your enquiry details to reply to you, arrange appointments and look after your pet properly. Our lawful basis for this is that it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the salon.
We use website and advertising information to understand which services people are looking for and whether our advertising is working. Our lawful basis for this is your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
If you become a client, we keep your contact and pet records for as long as you use the salon and for six years afterwards, so we have a history of your pet’s coat and treatments and can meet our accounting obligations.
If you enquire but do not book, we keep the enquiry for up to two years and then delete it.
Website analytics data is held by Google for up to fourteen months.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
